Somehow the financial community and our politicians were surprised to learn that when your projected debt service is 85% of your total income, then your credit might be downgraded.
This Week’s Word Provided By:
Standard “we are not the idiots here“& Poors
Might this have been avoided if our politicians lived in the real world where you actually have to qualify for a car or home loan? I hear congress is lobbying to hire Beyonce to “let me upgrade ya”…. that should fix everything. I think they should hire the free credit report.com band to play the White House!
“As God is my witness, I’ll never be hungry again.”
If you watched pulp fiction when it was released, you probably agreed with Vincent Vega that a “five dollar shake” was preposterous. Well look around - gas and food prices are going up by the day, good paying jobs are at a premium, credit is difficult to come by, insurance is expensive, if you own a home - it is worth less than what you paid for it, your retirement plan is dwindling and yes, a $5 dollar milk shake is rather normal.
So what are you going to do about it? Rely on the government, your boss or someone else to fix everything? Put your head and sand and hope it all gets better? Maybe, just maybe we need these tough times in order to toughen America back up.
Everywhere you look, there are lazy, whiny people who are unwilling to put in actual thought or smart work to make something of themselves. For some reason, a great sense of entitlement and disappointment exists. These people are falling further behind and making it harder on all of us.
Compared with anyone you know who is in their 80′s – we have gotten SOFT.
If you recognize the quote from above – take it to heart. Work harder, smarter, and better yourselves. Start today, whatever you are doing – do it better. Speak up, don’t settle, think bigger. Turn off the TV, get off the couch and make some changes. When well over 50% of the people are below average – how hard can it be to get ahead?
If you don’t recognize the quote from above, Google it and spend another 4 hours in front of the TV and see what tough person does against the odds.
Google – just a few years ago some smart guys had the same idea as a few thousand other smart guys – they just did it better….
For those of you who get it - focus on your job and your finances. Tackle those long over due items on your to-do list. Be great.
"Didn't everyone just see some other guy get bit by the spider a few years back...."
Is this the best hollywood can do? Remakes are great when they are about 3 or 4 decades after the original. Even better, pick a great movie that wasn’t very popular? I just watched the mysteriously leaked trailer of some nerdy kid getting bitten by a spider on a school field trip. It really brought back memories of my youth…errr i mean like 8 years ago.
People, demand more! When this rolls into theatres, BOYCOTT, save your money, head to Redbox and pickup the original – they are sure to have it for $1 that week. Grab some take out and your favorite adult beverages. Take it all home and enjoy a night with the one you love or your crew. Holdout for this new Spiderman guy to star in the surefire hit and long overdue remake of Seabiscuit.
